  • 5 cups bite-sized broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 8 ounces mini heirloom cherry, or grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For dressing:


  1. Cook bacon in a pan over medium heat until very crispy. Transfer to a paper towel to drain. Let cool and crumble into small pieces.
  2. Combine dressing ingredients in a small bowl, stirring until smooth.
  3. Combine broccoli, bacon, onions, cranberries, and sunflower seeds in a large bowl, tossing with the dressing. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir in tomatoes and season with black pepper prior to serving.
