Place the jalapeno boats insides-down on a small pan with olive oil, and place it over medium heat. Let it cook until the jalapeños soften and brown, about 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer the jalapeños to a plate.
Preheat the oven to 375 F.
Unroll a dough triangle. Sprinkle a thin layer of cheese all over it. Place a jalapeño boat on the dough and 1 clove's worth of sliced garlic. Add more cheese (as much as you can fit!). Roll up the dough as tightly and compactly as possible. Repeat for the other 7 crescent rolls.
Place the rolled-up crescent rolls on a baking tray, and place the pan into the oven. Let it bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes and then serve immediately.
