Broccoli Pesto

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces broccoli florets (about 5 cups)
  • 1 1/2 ounces fresh basil leaves (about 2 cups packed)
  • 2 ounces grated parmesan cheese (about 1/2 cup)
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice about 1 large lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Add all pesto ingredients to a food processor.
  • Process the ingredients until smooth, pausing occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
