I've made these several times now with great success. It's a great cookie on it's own, but it's also a great base for other flavors. I've added cinnamon, chocolate chips, orange zest, & cocoa powder & they were all delicious! It's an amazingly quick & easy cookie to make. And they freeze well, too. Thanks so much!

These were a huge hit at my work potluck. A plate of 3 dozen (half with Lily's dark chocolate chips) and they disappeared before the tray of another co-worker's famous lemon bars. I was surprised that they went that quick, considering that I even labeled them (Sugar-Free almond butter cookies) One thing to note... SALTED butter and POWDERED sweetener makes a difference.

These were so good!!! I made a quick strawberry jam in the instant pot (strawberries, swerve, chia seeds) last night and made jam thumbprints with this dough!! I can’t wait to make these for thanksgiving! Im normally a terrible baker, but this recipe is foolproof. I used granular swerve, which turned out just fine. I totally grabbed a pinch of the raw cookie dough to make sure it was the right sweetness. I used a little under the amount listed because swerve is a little sweeter. I think it’d be awesome with almond extract! Very lovely with tea!!

These cookies were absolutely delicious!!! They seem like a great basic recipe for all potential future add-ins, like cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, citrus zest, shredded coconut, and they're GREAT on their own. One question....my dough was VERY crumbly from beginning to end...any suggestions?

Try using an extra tablespoon of butter, or decreasing the amount of almond flour used. If you have a scale, it can be worthwhile to measure out the almond flour by weight -- it should be 4 oz.

This was such an amazing, simple recipe. My dough was crumbly from beginning to end, so next time I need to either add more butter or use less almond flour! Would definitely be good with some dark chocolate or cinnamon as well. Thanks for such great recipe ideas!

These are buttery and delicious. I used 1/8 C agave in place of erythritol. The cookies were chewy so I’m wondering if it’s because of the added liquid. 🤔 Didn’t matter because they were still tasty!

These cookies were intended for use with a dry sweetener, so yes, the added agave will mess up the ratio of dry to wet ingredients. Glad you still liked them though!

Loved this recipe! I added 1/2 tsp. of almond extract and used stevia for baking. Easy and delicious for a Keto-friendly sweet treat.

I used this recipe as a base for savory biscuits, I added garlic, bacon, and parmesan. But left out the vanilla and sweetener. Very good!

I made these and they are delicious! My kids have mature palettes because we force them to try things; they loved them too!

I accidentally bought imitation vanilla instead of extract will that affect the recipient too much?

Would you change the basic recipe if you want to add nuts like pecans or macadamias? I want to add quite a bit of chopped nuts & worry the dough would become too crumbly.

I wouldn't change the basic recipe too much. Make sure the nuts are very finely chopped when you add them to the dough.

Loved these cookies and so did my family! I only used two tablespoons of monk fruit instead of 1/4 cup. Thank you!

Thanks. I actually have cup measures for dry ingredients it maybe I just need to convert the almond flour into weight rather than volume too next time. Next time is tomorrow! I’m determined to make these work for me :) Thanks for your recipe and thanks also for your reply

Also I noticed that it will only combine using a mixer like a KitchenAid. Stays crumbly otherwise! Love these cookies!
