OMG I made this recipe, but I threw in a very small handful of slivered almonds and used almond flavor instead of vanilla. They are fabulous! 😁

Made these tonight, used brown sugar monfriut a dash of cinnamon and a pinch of salt. This is an excellent cookie! I made little bar shaped cookies. It's going to take a lot for me not to eat them all this week.

Awesome cookies. I used monk fruit.

These were super easy to make! I added 1/2 tsp of almond extract in addition to the vanilla extract and I chopped up 1/2 cup of almonds to fold in the dough.
Very delicious and great for Keto! Will be making again. Thank you! ♡♡♡

These taste great. My only question to the group is did you all have a cooling sensation in your mouth after you ate them? What could this be from?

That would be the erythritol. Try adding less next time, and you should get less of a cooling sensation.

These tasted great, but the fork hash marks remind me of peanut butter cookies, I rolled into a log. Refrigerated them for 1/2 hour, sliced then baked. Perfect looking butter cookies.

If I wanted to use stevia instead how much would it be?

I added 1/3 tsp of coconut flour, a pinch of baking powder and 1/4 cup of swerve instead of erythritol. Tastes amazing

These cookies are absolutely delicious! I’m so glad I found this recipe. 🙂

I only had coconut flour at home so decided to try with that. I had to triple the amount of butter to get it to a doughy consistency. After baking they turned out very pretty, but crumbled very easily! They taste delicious, but have that sort of grainy texture that coconut flour has. Will definitely try this recipe again with almond flour!

Eruthritol the sweetener sent me to the hospital ER. All of the alcohol sugars seem to affect me. What other sweetness can you use without ruining the recipe?

You could try monkfruit sweetener. It is the closest to sugar I have found, no after taste, etc. Lakanto brand on Amazon is what I have previously purchased.

Just an FYI. The Lakanto monk fruit sweetener has erythritol in it. It's a blend of the two. Make sure to read the ingredients on the monk fruit sweetener that you buy if the erythritol sent you to the hospital. Be cautious. I hope you can find a good sweetener to substitute.

Can I use almond flour that is not blanched? If yes would it still be one cup to the rest of the ingredients?

What brand of almond flour are you using? Measurements should be the same.

Would these freeze good if wrapped and stored correctly?

Just made these. I added a bit of almond extract (my kids had made almond poppyseed muffins earlier and I was jealous) and followed the rest of the recipe as is. Mine browned but stayed soft, which delighted me. So yummy and satisfying.

Great recipe, I make a double batch every week and the grandchildren also love them but I use less sweetener.

These were delicious! Made another batch with chocolate chips and coconut flour instead. Who needs normal cookies when you can make ones like these.
