Don't know what I did wrong but my cookies came out crumbly and with a bitter taste. I used almond meal flour, swerve, butter and vanilla. Any thoughts?

The recipe calls for 1/4 cup (4 tbsp) of erythritol, which is less sweet than sugar. Since Swerve is a 1:1 sub for sugar, just use 3 tbsp instead.

Did you powder the Monkfruit? I would like to make it with Lankanto Monkfruit. ALON this question is for you.

Does the erythritol have any taste at all? I don't like the taste of stevia and other products. I was thinking of not even adding the erythritol. Is that possible?

I don't think they will taste good without any kind of sweetener. Personally, I don't find there's any aftertaste with erythritol, assuming you don't overdo it and add way too much.

Well, I've been doing keto for almost three weeks. I finally got my order of Swerve confectioners and was able to make a sweet. I am in love with these simple little cookies. So good!!! And so easy to make...

does the erythritol leave a minty taste to everything you use it in? I have seen several remarks of it leaving a minty taste.

That only happens if you use too much in proportion to other ingredients. If you get that cooling effect, dial down the amount you use next time.

I want to cry!! Tears of joy that is. These cookies are just what I needed for a little dose of goodness as my womanly cravings have set in. I did half with vanilla extract and the other half with lemon extract and I am in love!!

I have been making these once a week, they are SO GOOD. I have been cutting the erythratol down to a bit less than a quarter cup. Last night, I made a batch and there was a lemon half sitting on the counter so I squeezed a little juice into the batter. OH MY! They are absolutely delicious this way. Thank you so much for this recipe.

These cookies turned out so good! My husband and kids ate half of them! What do you think would happen if I used coconut flour instead? Or maybe half coconut flour half almond flour? Thanks for the amazing recipe!

Hi! Have you ever mesured, how many grams the 3 tablespoons of butter is? Thanks!

First taste was a warm cookie...just couldn’t wait! I used 1/4 tsp vanilla extract and 1/4 tsp almond extract and organic erythritol. Super good and curbs the sweet craving amazingly well!

What brand of powdered Erythrotal did you use? Can i use Swerve confectioners sugar?

I use Anthony's erythritol, which is linked in the recipe to its Amazon product page. Then I use a small blender like a nutribullet to powder it.

Oh my goodness Julia!!! Thank you for sharing this recipe with us. This is so good that you could actually go off your macros. My husband said it is better than the regular Butter Cookies you buy off retail.
